RESTORATIVE YOGA WORKSHOPS
Sundays, January 11, February 8, March 15, April 19, May 31 & June 28
1:30 - 3:30 pm

In this 2-hour workshop, you will experience yoga like never before. Guided through a series of supported yoga poses, you will feel the profoundly relaxing and deeply rejuvenating effects of Restorative Yoga.

Restorative Yoga is a practice born from the Iyengar tradition that utilizes a variety of props to completely support the body in gentle, restful positions. Poses are usually held for 15-20 minutes. The goal of this practice is for the practitioner to enter a relaxed and meditative state from which the body is more able to access its natural ability to cleanse, rest, heal and build immunities. One is eased into total relaxation, reducing both physical and mental stress, while invigorating the body, releasing tight muscles and toning internal organs.

The workshops are open to everyone. No prior yoga experience needed!
$35 per workshop in advance, $45 day of

Restorative Yoga Rocks!!! I had been to regular yoga classes, but never attended a restorative yoga class. I feel like this class was worth it's weight in gold. I left class feeling completely refreshed and ready to tackle my week. I really liked that the instructor (Alicia) made accommodations for those of us who have injuries or difficulty with certain positions. I signed up for the next two classes as soon as I was done!! Well worth it if you are looking for an alternative stress reducing type of yoga class.

Alicia's restorative class is a must. I walk into the class with stress from the top of my head to the tips of my toes, but by the second pose, relaxation seeps into every nook and cranny. I re-enter the hectic world but retain my relaxed state of being for days.
